A reliable engine rebuild depends on disciplined execution at every stage. Our process combines detailed inspection, in-house machining, OEM parts, controlled assembly, dyno testing, and secure shipping to help ensure each remanufactured engine is prepared for dependable performance in the field. Below, you can see how each step of the rebuild process contributes to the quality, reliability, and accountability behind the finished engine.
Arrival
When an engine arrives, we confirm all customer-provided engine information is correct and begin the intake process. Intake is the first and one of the most critical stages in our engine rebuilding process. This step ensures every engine is properly documented, tracked, and prepared for internal processing.
Inspection
& Tear Down
Prior to tear down, we pressure wash the exterior of the engine, run diagnostics to document known codes, and conduct a visual inspection. As we tear down the engine to a bare block, we further inspect each component group to identify issues that cannot be captured by diagnostics and ensure they are addressed during the rebuild process.
Machining & Assembly
We machine beyond industry standards to restore all internal components back to OEM specifications to create a precise foundation for the assembly stage. After machining, each engine is assembled using OEM parts to the customer’s specific engine arrangement.
Painting
& Dyno Testing
Prior to tear down, we pressure wash the exterior of the engine, run diagnostics to document known codes, and conduct a visual inspection. As we tear down the engine to a bare block, we further inspect each component group to identify issues that cannot be captured by diagnostics and ensure they are addressed during the rebuild process.
Shipping
Prior to leaving our facility, each engine is wrapped, strapped, and tarped to a custom fabricated engine skid to guarantee your engine is secure during transit and arrives at your location ready for installation so you can get your equipment back into operation.

We verify customer-provided engine information and begin the intake and documentation process. Establishing accurate engine identification and project information at the beginning helps ensure the engine is properly tracked throughout the rebuild.
What happens during engine teardown and component inspection?
The engine is disassembled to the level required for a complete rebuild, with component groups inspected as they are removed. This allows our team to evaluate wear, damage, contamination, potential causes of engine failure, and other conditions that may affect the final rebuild.
How do you determine which components can be reused and which need to be replaced?
Components are inspected, measured, and evaluated against the applicable specifications and rebuild requirements. Parts that do not meet acceptable standards are repaired where appropriate or replaced rather than being reused simply to reduce cost.
Are engines assembled to the customer’s specific engine arrangement?
Yes. Engines are assembled to the required arrangement and application specifications. Correct configuration is important because a rebuilt engine must match the equipment and operating requirements it is being returned to.
Are OEM parts used during assembly?
Yes. We use genuine OEM parts as part of our standard rebuild approach. High-quality components coupled with disciplined assembly procedures enable us to deliver reliable engines our customers can count on in demanding field conditions.
How is the rebuild process documented from teardown through final testing?
We document key findings, measurements, parts, photographs, quality-control checks, and additional rebuild information throughout the process. This creates a clear record of the engine’s incoming condition, the work performed, and the steps taken to prepare it for return to service.
How do you test a remanufactured engine before shipment?
Completed engines go through final inspections and quality-control checks before release. Each engine is then dyno tested under controlled load conditions that simulate real-world demands, allowing us to verify performance before shipment.
