Position Overview

We’re seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Diesel Apprentices. This role is the starting point of our structured ten-year career path, offering hands-on training in diesel engine remanufacturing, mentorship from experienced technicians, and long-term growth in a clean, safe, and organized shop environment.

Responsibilities

  • Tear down and disassemble diesel engine components for inspection and rebuild
  • Clean, organize, and prepare engine parts for reassembly
  • Inspect components for wear or damage and complete detailed documentation
  • Maintain and service shop tools, machines, and work areas to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Assist the assembly team with various tasks to support production flow
  • Follow all safety and quality standards at all times

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
  • Willingness to learn diesel systems, tools, and remanufacturing processes
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks safely
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
  • Previous experience in an industrial, automotive, or mechanical environment is a plus—but not required
